Patriots for US Constitution

Patriots for US Constitution is a grass roots community action group working to return the United States of America to Godly Principles and Family Values. Our nation is under attack, and the very survival of the US Constitution, the foundation of our nation is at stake.

As citizens of the United States we expect our elected government officials to represent us. We elect them to represent our wishes and desires on matters of the nation and of the state. When our elected government officials ignore or "loose touch with us" they have forgotten the very reason they were elected. When they cave in to the lobbyists ($$$) and/or hire, appoint or otherwise acquire other personal interests they are no longer representing us and should be removed and replaced by someone who will represent us.

We are a nation of "by the people, of the people, and for the people", not "to the people"!

We do not want to be mislead, lied to, or taken advantage of in our state or national government. We do not want, nor do we need, wasteful "Pork Barrel Projects" for our state or for ANY STATE. We do not want intentional indebtedness as a legacy for our children or our grandchildren for generations to come.

We do not want massive government take over of ANY industry or government mandated health care.

We do not want a weak, or cowardly persona to be what the world sees as the United States of America. There's a reason that the American Eagle symbolizes strength for America.

Our confidence and faith in God Almighty has sustained this nation and allowed Freedom to prosper and grow.

It will be our arrogant, self-dependence that will bring this nation to it's knees, and back to God. There's a reason our currency states "IN GOD WE TRUST".

When our nations repents of it's corporate sins, it's people return to faith and trust in God, only then can this nation champion the cause of Freedom and Liberty once again.

We want honest, responsible elected government officials.

We will identify those who are not.

We will expose their deceitful deeds.

We demand accountability.

We will take appropriate steps to see that those who violate the trust and confidence of the American people are removed from office properly and in a manner prescribed by our Constitution and by law.

We encourage everyone to get involved in a local Tea Party and actively work at righting the wrongs government is heaping on American citizens.

Individually we cannot be effective, yet collectively our voice can be heard.

"I, (state your full name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.^[1] "

The following originated in my email in box as a chain email. I don't pass on chain emails, yet I believe in the message supported by the original email. As a Christian I KNOW the power of prayer. So I have chosen to take this a bit further.

 I know that 2 Chronicles 7:14 is EXACTLY what this nations needs at THIS POINT IN TIME. First one must understand that it is GOD and HIS mercy, not man in his own righteousness that can bring this about.

These passages in Daniel are quite simple, yet true:

Dan 9:18 "O my God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our supplications before You on account of any merits of our own, but on account of Your great compassion." (NASB)

Dan 9:19 "O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! For Your own sake, O my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name." (NASB)

Let us read more of the passage in 2 Chronicles that includes verse 14 to gain a better understanding of the context of the verse.

2Ch 7:12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.

2Ch 7:13 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,

2Ch 7:14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2Ch 7:15 "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

2Ch 7:16 "For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

2Ch 7:17 "As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, even to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep My statutes and My ordinances,

2Ch 7:18 then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David, saying, 'You shall not lack a man {to be} ruler in Israel.'"

A timely thought:

   Some folks passing through Texarkana recently noted signs in people's yards that said," America, prayer is our only hope" with 2 Chron. 7:14 underneath. We certainly need God's help!  

I have no idea who started this, but I certainly agree and I've heard preachers say "if we pray for our nation, things will turn around".

I have decided to reach out to you, my friends, to ask you to do something for what has been troubling me for some time. Let's change the heart of America through prayer.

It has been obvious that our nation is/has been on the slippery slope for a long time. If you look around you will find corruption, greed, moral decay, and a steady move away from the GOD that made our nation great. The principles upon which this nation was founded are no longer our backbone. However, we can reverse this trend.

2 Chron. 7:14 in God's word GOD states, "If my  people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their Land."

I am convinced that we must pray for our nation and its leaders and ask for forgiveness for our own sins, as well as the sins committed corporately by our nation.

I must be clear, this is not a one-time prayer then back to business as usual. No it's a complete 180 degree change of the heart. It must begin with me. It must begin with you. We must in effect change the heart of America and turn back to GOD!

So I ask you to join me in this plea to our Lord and Savior. We must bring America back to its knees. We must bring America back to is constitutional foundation, back to God and Godly principles.

Would you please talk to your family members and closest friends; ask them to pray this prayer EVERYDAY.

25 to only the 5th power is 9,765,625 people.  IMAGINE if each person reaches TEN others...or all TWENTY FIVE!

If you do and they comply, we will lift up millions and millions of prayers a day to our Creator. He will hear, and will answer. (It's not quantity, but quality. Sincerity or attitude of the Heart.)

 This is why the United States of America is in the shape it is in today.  Most people have forgotten that we are one nation under God!  Let us remind them with prayer.
